Another chain increasing prices in order to make sale prices more enticing. Example - Starbucks iced coffee has gone from $5 to 7.49 in less than a year with the price continuously raising. We notice because we buy this so often that even little changes become apparent. The fact that only sale prices are affordable, and you have to schedule when to purchase certain products, shows what chains think of consumers. Fry's is a short distance away with lower prices.
Love this Safeway! Brianna in the deli is awesome, she saved me this evening. Customer service from Brianna and the gentleman working in the deli is 5-star!
Thanks again, Ill drive out of my way for this location.
I love this store. The store brand products have a good flavor. You can also find items that are not carried at other grocery store chains. The cashier's are efficient and friendly. But on a side note:....,some items can be pricey so, follow the store advertisement for sales to balance your final bill.
I grew tired of eating the cost of bad products from this store, so I started returning spoiled or damaged items. Even though it cost me more in time than I get in the refund, at this point it's the principle of the thing, not the money.
But they make me feel suspect every time. I returned a jar of pickles that had a broken seal, (without a receipt) and the manager had to interrogate me on the purchase date and carefully inspected the expiration date.
"It's just policy". Look at the customer, look at the product, ask a couple questions, think about it for a few seconds. Yes, I must be legit, or it's not worth a few bucks to deny this potential scammer.
Nice grocery store with good selection. However I am taking a star off because I was very disappointed to learn that this store doesn't carry shepherd's pie. My husband and I just moved to this area, and we had a Safeway where we used to shop in our old neighborhood that carried it in the section with the prepared food. It was very reasonably priced, healthy, convenient, and it easily fed both of us. It made a great dinner for two people who were both working full time and who we're full time students. All we had to do was pop it i the microwave to warm it up before serving it. I hope that in the near future this store will start carrying it.
Not going to give my business to companies that force me to download an app for a halfway decent price. $1.69 for a loaf of bread with your spyware garbage app but $5.97 without? Get real.
Self check out woman was extremely rude. Went to purchase 1 item and approaching self check out I first felt a manager hovering behind me to watch me check out and my every move, all I was purchasing was a rotisserie chicken and I showed no signs of theft. The self checkout machine showed the “please wait help is on the way” message and the employee came to the machine, I politely said hello and thank you and was not acknowledged what so ever, it’s not hard to have a basic human connection with customers. I said thank you again after she cleared the message and she just walked away with no acknowledgment or eye contact what so ever treating me as if I was stealing. I give off no vibe of entitlement and don’t understand why a customer deserves to be treated this way. Even as I was exiting the store after paying I could still blatantly see the manager watching me exit as if I just stole something. HORRIBLE customer service. This occurred on 8/24 a little after 4PM.
Great location. The store is large, well lit and very clean. A good selection of items most other stores don’t carry. Some of the prices could be better, but overall a good shopping experience.
